In short
1. What is stored
Marina BMP uses your browser’s local storage and session storage rather than traditional cookies. The rules are the same, so we call them all “cookies and storage” here.
| Category | What it is for | How long | Your choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeping you signed in; your marina data, settings and daily safety copies if you use the app on this device; remembering your cookie choice | Until you sign out, delete your data, or clear your browser | Always on — the service cannot work without it |
| Preferences | Remembering dark or light theme, and whether the animated background is on, between visits | Until you change your choice or clear your browser | Off unless you allow it. When off, these choices last only until you close the tab |
| Analytics | None. Marina BMP does not measure or track your visits. | ||
| Advertising | None. | ||
2. Other companies
Visiting Marina BMP sends nothing to other companies: fonts and software libraries are served from our own website. Other services are contacted only when you use them — Supabase when you sign in or sync, Polar when you go to checkout, and Open-Meteo if you turn on the weather panel. See the Privacy Policy for details. None of them places tracking cookies through Marina BMP.
3. Your choice
You can change this at any time, as easily as you gave it.
Essential — always on
You can also clear everything Marina BMP has stored using your browser’s site-data settings, or with Delete My Data in the app’s Settings.
